Horlicks Swiss Roll

Ingredients

Sponge Cake

  • 125g Sponge Cake Mix
  • 30g Horlicks Powder
  • 30g Water
  • 3 eggs
  • 30g Melted Butter

Swiss Roll Filling

  • 125g Cream Cheese
  • 50g Butter
  • 30g Sugar
  • 5g Lemon juice
  • 30g Horlicks Powder

Methods

Sponge Cake

  1. Preheat oven at 170°c.

  2. Combine sponge cake mix, Horlicks powder, water and eggs into a mixing bowl.

  3. Beat at high speed until fluffy. Gradually add in the melted butter.

  4. Next, pour the mixture into a wide baking tray and bake at 170°C for 8-10 mins.

Swiss Roll Filling

  1. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, butter together.

  2. Add in Horlicks powder and lemon juice until well combined.

  3. Spread the mixture on the sponge cake evenly. Then roll the sponge till it is tight.

  4. Chill the swiss roll for 2 hours before serve.
